First Hair Cut

I just love that my sister is a cosmetologist! Adaley got her first hair cut and she was so cute. She has such great curls, I wanted to try and get the dead ends off so that she would not get so many tangles. There are days that I will rub my fingers through her hair and it gets so poofy. She loves to have her hair done and wear pretty bows (for now) ;)

James Birthday

Wow!
Times flies so fast. James turned six recently and boy is he getting to big!!! He wanted to have a pirate cake and be a pirate, like Captain Jack Sparrow. (He has actually never seen the movie but he thinks that he is cool). There are somedays that I just sit and think to myself "where has all the time gone". He is truly such a joy to me and such a great treasure in our family.

So this is the image that you see but there is oh so much more! I decided to take some up to date pictures of the family. So I set up my studio lights and backdrop asked my little sister to help take some pictures. Wow I am so glad that I can do this myself. It was tons easier to let the kids have a break and go play. I think that you can ask an 18 month old only so many times to smile before she hits the wall! The pictures below show just how much fun family can be.
